Virginia’s first love is working with kids that are pursuing Musical Adventures on Professional Stages. As a Live Performance Coach, Virginia prepares these kids for what the real world holds for them as live performers and takes them out for stage time as often as possible. “When our daughter Frances was 12 our paths crossed with Virginia. Frances is a gifted musician – songwriter, vocalist, and guitar player. Virginia saw the potential in Frances that needed to be guided with intention. She is magnetically attracted to music and God gave her the gifts to support and fulfill this dream. The pinnacle of this journey was Frances’ acceptance and graduation from Berklee School of Music. This was her dream college experience, and we feel that Virginia played a pivotal role in preparing her for the audition process which ultimately led to her acceptance and graduation. What Virginia introduced to our family was performance and stage guidance. Frances could sing in an empty closet, but that’s not performing. When we engaged Virginia, she would meet with Frances weekly and allow her to “perform” while observing. Her critique, instructions, guidance, and strategic coaching helped Frances understand that it’s more than a beautiful voice and gifted songwriting that engages an audience.
