INDIE MUSIC CONFERENCE

This Indie Music Conference is for Independent Artists, Songwriters, Composers and Producers. The intention is to make these individuals aware of the different ways to earn and collect money in the Music Business. We will be covering a variety of topics from Licensing Music to TV/Film, the legalities and creative side of how to get placements. Music Publishing will cover independent Music Publishing and self distribution versus working with a professional Music Publisher or Record Label. PRO’s (Performance Rights Organizations) and why you should register your songs, how you benefit from that and the services they provide. There will be Q & A’s after each session including an Open Session of Song & Production Critiques.

All of these topics include every genre of music and apply to songwriters, performers, composers and producers. Think about the topic of just TV Shows and Movies.  They all must include music in some form, whether it be lyrics that apply to the show or just music scoring with produced instrumental pieces. The options are limitless and we will go over those options for all our attendees regardless of your particular area of expertise.
